One of the big summer events in Southwestern Ontario is the annual . Last year, we sent our camera crew to document the Kettle & Stony Point First Nation Pow Wow and to follow Cocos’ employees, Cloud, Reggie and Prof, who spent the (whole) day watching the dancing and drumming.
For those of you who watched Episode 4, you’ll know that the boys’ trip to Stony Point caused more than a few problems in the kitchen. When they finally got back just before the dinner hour, everyone was in a bad mood. They made good with Mickey by bringing him back a red and white dream catcher. But Justin was another matter. Sometimes, it’s just work, work, work…
For those of you who are on vacation, vacation, vacation …. make the pow wow part of your weekend plan. The 43rd annual Kettle & Stony Point First Nation Pow Wow takes places July 13 – 14, 2013. Saturday’s Grand Entry takes place at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Sunday at 12:00 Noon.
