It’s Back To The Beach For The Grand Benders!


Toronto, ON [July 31, 2012] — The docu-soap series, GRAND BENDERS, has been renewed for a second season by bpm:tv, Canada’s first and only dance channel. Original cast members — Mickey, Nancy and Justin Rapaport (plus bunny mascot Princess Coco) — will head back to the beach and into another steamy summer of over-the-top antics and family drama beginning Spring 2013. Production for the second season began Victoria Day weekend in Grand Bend.

The second season of GRAND BENDERS will feature 24 online episodes and eight half-hour on-air episodes plus additional video content produced by MDF Productions. Episodes will air at GRAND BENDERS is the first original series produced for bpm:tv by MDF Productions, and was the speciality channel’s second most popular show when it aired in May/June 2012.

GRAND BENDERS Season 1 is currently airing at with the first three episodes now online and following episodes scheduled to roll-out over the next two weeks.

GRAND BENDERS follows the exploits of the Rapaport family, owners of Coco’s, a one-of-a-kind hotel, nightclub, restaurant and bar located along “the strip” in Grand Bend. The extended cast includes an eclectic assortment of staff, friends, club kids, beach goers and small-town frenemies. The series is shot on location in Grand Bend, a legendary party place and hot-spot destination located on the shores of Lake Huron.
