Patrick Goes Mud Wrestling In South Korea
It’s mud season in South Korea! And guess who’s there enjoying the dirty fun?
Patrick (our own ladies man) recently attended the Boryeong Mud Festival, which takes place during the summer in Boryeong, a town around 200 km south of Seoul, South Korea.
While there he enjoyed mud wrestling with his friends.
The mud is taken from the Boryeong mud flats, and trucked to the Daecheon beach area, where it is used as the centrepiece of ‘Mud Experience Land’.
For the period of the festival several large attractions are erected in the seafront area of Daecheon. These include a mud pool, mud slides, mud prison and mud skiing competitions. The festival features mud wrestling, mud sliding and a mud king contest – and its own mud song.
About 2 million people attend the annual festival.
